During this time, Corbitt traveled extensively jet-setting to virtually every major DMA within the continental U.S. and Hawaii, while also traveled internationally to several markets to work on partnership opportunities for extended periods of time in countries including; Spain, Italy, Germany, Austria and Switzerland. Corbitt began his pursuit in understanding the psychology that drives marketing efforts at the University of Alabama, graduating with a Bachelors of Science in Consumer and Industrial Marketing on May 7th, 2005. Fast forward to a decade later and Corbitt found himself fortunate enough to begin learning in a hands-on environment with one of the world’s top Facebook Advertisers and internet marketing OG, Frank Kern’s CMO, Brad Bearden. As Corbitt’s consulting business grew, he exited his VP of Marketing role and transitioned Iron Tribe Fitness over as one of his clients leaning 100% into building his new agency, Apex Current (which began in the basement of his home).

Apex Current took off like a rocket ship, quickly growing its book of clients to businesses in industries that included fitness, orthodontics, doctors offices and health clinics, health and wellness supplements and nutrition, higher education, investing companies, independent news, events/seminars, luxury travel and more. Apex Current would go on to serve clients that included brands like - Club Pilates, Birmingham Orthodontics, Medjet, Agenixs, XCI Racing, Breakout Games, Dr. Larry Fan, Below Body Bar and Forum Health, to name only a few.

He lives his life by the quote, “How we do anything, is how we do everything.” (attributed to Martha Beck) and believes anything is possible if we're only willing to commit to 110% of our efforts to achieving whatever “it” may be.

Nothing would make more sense than to close with some of Corbitt’s own words which are, "We all have the ability to do amazing things in our lifetime. All one has to do is make up their mind and refuse to give up or give in."
